More Drinking Water Outbreaks of Cryptosporidiosis Traced to Farm Animal Slurry

The Irish Independent is reporting that more outbreaks of Cryptosporidiosis will continue to contaminate Irish drinking water supplies unless drastic improvements are made. According to the report, Cryptosporidium which is implicated in several Irish gastrointestinal epidemics, has been recorded at a number of sites nationwide that are subject to agricultural runoff and sewage.
